Twenty years on from the death of Melina Mercouri, and by way of a sequel to the very successful performance at the Herod Atticus Theatre on 10 July, we will once again experience the life of Melina through her songs, on another two evenings. Eleonora Zouganeli, one of the most outstanding and talented Greek singer of the new generation, will once again revive the spirit of Melina Mercouri in a performance of songs, rich in passion and love. The concerts will be staged at the Athens Concert Hall on 7 and 8 November. Songs will be featured by M. Hadjidakis, M. Theodorakis, St. Xarhakos, Y. Markopoulos, V. Tsitsanis, V. Papathanasiou, K. Weil, N. Gatsos, E. Papayiannopoulou,
L. Papadopoulos, K.H. Myris and O. Elytis – in short, the songs of Greece!
