Greek Women Composers in the 21st century

The Hellenic Ensemble of Contemporary Music has completed 51 years of active presence, performing hundreds of works of various styles in Greece and abroad. Created by composer, conductor, and Member of the Academy of Athens Theodoros Antoniou, it places particular emphasis on the younger generations of Greek composers, with commissions and first performances. In a special concert under the baton of composer Iakovos Konitopoulos, the Ensemble will premiere works by Greek female composers.
