Overview

ARMONIA ATENEA-THE FRIENDS OF MUSIC ORCHESTRA

Enjoy a thrilling experience to the music of Beethoven!
Imagine yourself a member of the audience in the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, on 22 December 1808, when Beethoven presented a marathon concert, featuring the first performance of the Pastoral Symphony, the Fifth Symphony, the Piano Concerto No. 4 and the Fantasia for piano, chorus and orchestra, as well as passages from earlier works.  The magic of this historic evening will be revived by internationally acclaimed conductor George Petrou, with eminent soloists, the period instruments of the Armonia Atenea, and a genuine forte piano made in 1820. A lavish musical production – worthy of the “Titan” of music.

The concert will be performed in two parts. The audience will be able to attend just one part,
or attend both parts at a reduced price!
