The “Song of the Dead Brother” is a tale which sprang from the collective consciousness of our race, has undergone numerous variations and been adopted by many other peoples, always retaining its basic structure and underlying meanings. The central themes of the song are the institutions of the family and of marriage, destiny, exile, the power of the curse, death and the vicissitudes of fate.
The “T’Alonaki” Troupe will approach the “Song of the Dead Brother” through a combination of words, music and traditional Greek dance.
