If a piano alone can replace an entire symphony orchestra, then one can imagine what two pianos can do together… Indeed, Brahms’ Sonata is another version of his famous piano Quintet, while the two symphonic masterpieces by Sergei Prokofiev and George Gershwin are transferred to the pianistic universe not just without losing their primary richness, but instead acquiring an even greater clarity, bringing to the fore every little detail thanks to the piano’s lucidly articulated sound. All these are made possible thanks to the consummate artistry of the two acclaimed pianists, whose names are associated with robust performances of works from the entire piano repertoire.
