Permanent Chamber Music Seminar Final concert of the Seminar’s 7th Cycle

25.04 c Maria Grammatikou

Overview

Since the 2021-2022 season, the Athens State Orchestra has included in its educational and social work programme the Permanent Chamber Music Seminar, an initiative of cellist Angelos Liakakis and pianist Titos Gouvelis. The two artists, both members of the Orchestra, are known both for their active careers as soloist and for their long-standing cooperation in the field of chamber music. Considering it their duty to pass on their knowledge and experience to the younger generation, they have organised and are running, for seven years now, the Permanent Chamber Music Seminar, aimed at introducing young students and professional musicians to the particular challenges of the chamber music repertoire. The response of young musicians who have taken part in the Seminar to date has been overwhelmingly positive, confirming its necessity and value.

With the students of the Seminar’s 7th Cycle
