Robinson Crusoe

Overview
Robinson Crusoe, the work so much loved by children and adults alike, inspired by Daniel Defoe’s novel of the same name, is staged at Megaron under the direction of Tatiana Lygari. A sumptuous musical and theatrical production for the entire family, presenting the adventures of the famous castaway whose intelligence, ingenuity and mental strength helped him overcome all difficulties and teach us the love for life. The imaginative adaptation of the work to modern times is by Giorgos Galitis. The on-stage orchestra, featuring a piano, guitars, wind instruments and stormy drums, presents original compositions in diverse styles by Minas I. Alexiadis, while a group of excellent actors perform, sing and dance, creating an imaginative spectacle for children and adults! The imaginative sets and spectacular costumes of Yannis Metzikoff, the choreographies, the lighting, the sound design and the impressive screenings complete the theatrical experience. The play is a “survival guide” offering pedagogical values for young spectators, realism for adults and lots of humour for all.
For children aged 5 and above.
