Overview
Famous musical scores bursting with passion and unbridled emotion, yet also demonstrating unwavering attention to the slightest detail, are recreated under the direction of thriving conductor Georgios Balatsinos, with the brilliant pianistic contribution of the explosively virtuosic Vassilis Varvaresos. The programme also includes a premiere performance of special significance for the Greek music scene: the Symphonic Fantasy from Manolis Kalomiris‘ opera The Master Builder, based on the tragedy of the same name by Nikos Kazantzakis.
