CONTEMPORARY MUSICAL CREATION

Since 1997 Theodore Antoniou has been hosting workshops for young composers at the Athens Concert Hall, helping to promote better understanding and collaboration between conductor, composer and musicians. The Young Composer’s Workshops are organized each year and allow the participants to perfect their compositions and present them to the public.

There will be performances of works by M. Gouvalis, A. Mastrantonis, G. Papamitrou, L. Tonia, D. Tsimpanos and E. Hatzithemelis, selected by a panel of Greek composers and conductors.
