Mimis Chrysomallis was born and raised in Athens. He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business and of the University of Amsterdam. He studied classical guitar, piano and music theory at the Northern Suburbs Conservatoire, in Athens. He lived and worked for many years in the Netherlands and then in Spain, where he studied flamenco guitar. He recently completed a two-year course in music technology and production. He is currently in his final year of studies at the Department of jazz guitar and modern music of the Philippos Nakas Conservatoire. He is active as a composer and takes special interest in music for films. He was production manager for the documentary films Memento (2021) and The 4 Levels of Existence (2019).
