For the fifth consecutive year, Megaron the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with an enriched and more multi-faceted programme than ever, comprising 14 events — concerts, festivals and educational programmes — with free admission for the public.
On September 19, at Skala Limnis, the Two Pianos Jazz Quartet, with Christos Papageorgiou and Anastasios Pappas on piano, takes listeners on a journey through jazz, funk, ragtime, blues, musical theatre, and opera.
On September 20, at the Elymnion Cinema, Christos Papageorgiou presents a recital and talk starting from Mikis Theodorakis’s song “Sto perigiali to kryfo,” tracing the common threads between classical music, jazz, Greek song, and cinema.
The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
