OPERA SEASON
The collaboration between the Athens Concert Hall and Teatro alla Scala-Milan will be formally opened with the production of Donizetti’s opera Maria Stuarda, complemented by the exhibition “Maria Callas and La Scala”.
The memorandum of cooperation envisages the staging of recent La Scala productions, the prospect of the Athens Concert Hall being involved in international co-productions, and the providing of support for young Greek opera singers as they take their first steps on the international stage.
