For the fifth consecutive year, Megaron the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with an enriched and more multi-faceted programme than ever, comprising 14 events — concerts, festivals and educational programmes — with free admission for the public.

There are choirs you listen to, and there are choirs you experience. musicAeterna Byzantina belongs, without question, to the second category. Founded by, and under the artistic direction of, the internationally renowned Greek conductor Teodor Currentzis, the choir has gained worldwide acclaim for the unrivalled quality, intensity and profound spirituality of its performances.

At the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Limni, a space that in itself breathes history and reverence, the choir offers an evening that goes beyond the boundaries of a concert and becomes an experience for the soul. Under choirmaster Antonios Koutroupis, the voices of musicAeterna Byzantina will transform the church into a place where music meets faith.

The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
