“OPEN TO ALL”: AN OPERATIC PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE MOZART TRILOGY “DA PONTE”.
Mozart’s operas The Marriages of Figaro, Don Giovanni and So Do They All, with libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, are known as the Mozart ̶ Da Ponte trilogy. These three timeless masterpieces, belonging to the opera buffa and dramma giocoso genres, are the backbone of the repertoire of lyric theatres worldwide, but also a reference repertoire for the study and development of lyric singers. The performance is part of a masterclass by the internationally renowned baritone Dimitris Teliakos, organized by the Friends of Music Association, featuring lyric artists who attended the seminar (the names will be announced on megaron.gr).
