The nationwide premiere, in the presence of the great Daniel Day-Lewis, is organized for the benefit of the Spastics Society/Porta Anoichti, in collaboration with the 31st Athens International Film Festival – Opening Nights, Tanweer, and the Athens Concert Hall. At the screening, Daniel Day-Lewis will appear together with his son, director Ronan Day-Lewis, thanks to whom the legendary actor returned to acting.
In Ronan Day-Lewis’s captivating debut film Anemone, tensions escalate when a man living in isolation suddenly comes face to face with his brother over the mystery of his disappearance ten years earlier. At the premiere we will enjoy yet another extraordinary performance by the greatest actor of his generation, and we will have the chance to hear him and meet him in person.
