Under the title “No Exit: Poems for Shattered Times”, this year’s festival takes place during a period of intense global upheaval that is redrawing the terms of our world: might-makes-right prevails more cynically than ever in geopolitics, parties opposed to democratic principles are gaining ground everywhere, and the encroachment of artificial intelligence threatens not only creative endeavour but also shapes a false picture of reality. These new circumstances demand a reaffirmation of our European identity, support for democratic culture and for what is human, and the promotion of humanistic education, including poetry, which gives meaning and quality to our lives.

Participants: Harold Alva Vialé (Peru), Yorgos Alisanoglou, Anna Afentoulidou, Thodoris Gonis, Dioni Dimitriadou, Sofia Dionysopoulou, Ilya Kaminsky (USA), Chiara Catapano (Italy), Andrea Cote (Colombia), Chloe Koutsoumpeli, Michael Krüger (Germany), James Byrne (United Kingdom), Javier Bozalongo (Spain), Panagiotis Nikolaidis, Tadeusz Dąbrowski (Poland), Merima Dizdarević (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Jelena Radovanović (Serbia), Grigoris Sakalis, Girgis Shoukry (Egypt), Alicia Stallings (USA), Lina Stefanou, Ilias Fragakis, Yorgos Chouliaras
