A World of Writers: Within the framework of ‘Athens 2018 – World Book Capital’, City of Athens
Samuel Bjork is the pen name of Norwegian novelist, playwright, visual artist, and singer/songwriter Frode Sander Øien. Born in 1969, he wrote his first play at the age of twenty-one, and then went on to write two critically acclaimed novels, Pepsi Love (2001) and Speed for Breakfast (2009). Self-taught and media-shy, Øien has published five more plays and has translated Shakespeare; he has also released six albums and showed art pieces in galleries. He lives and works in Trondheim, Norway.
Marina Tsiklitira is a journalist. Since 1992, she has worked as a cultural reporter in radio and television, newspapers, magazines, and websites.
