For the fifth consecutive year, Megaron the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with an enriched and more multi-faceted programme than ever, comprising 14 events — concerts, festivals and educational programmes — with free admission for the public.

The classical guitar is one of the most familiar, and at the same time most demanding, instruments in the musical repertoire — an instrument that speaks in a low-key register and wins you over before you realise it. Kimon Vintzileos, one of the most notable Greek guitarists of his generation, presents a programme dedicated to Spanish and Latin American composers — a world full of passion, colour and rhythm, where the guitar does not accompany but takes centre stage.

Alongside him, soprano Antonia Kokkinou adds a further dimension to the programme with her voice — guitar and voice in dialogue, as in the finest moments of the musical tradition they represent. An evening dedicated to refined virtuosity and the strength of two instruments that coexist with grace.

The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
