Μezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča as Dalila (Musical America Award: Vocalist of the Year 2010; MIDEM Classical Award: Singer of the Year 2010) and tenor Roberto Alagna (Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition) as Samson in Saint-Saëns biblical epic. Darko Tresnjak (Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder) makes his debut at the Met directing the masterpiece of French opera for the first time in 20 years. Sir Mark Elder conducting.
