A few days before its first appearance at the renowned Salzburg Whitsun Festival (Salzburger Pfingstfestspiele), the Armonia Atenea is presenting the first global revival of N. Zingarelli’s composition “Giulietta e Romeo”. Considered to be the composer’s best work, the opera was first staged at La Scala in Milan in 1796. The work is being revived under the dynamic guidance of conductor George Petrou, featuring a select international cast.
