For the fifth consecutive year, Megaron the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with an enriched and more multi-faceted programme than ever, comprising 14 events — concerts, festivals and educational programmes — with free admission for the public.
The Philharmonic Band of the Hellenic Coast Guard is one of the country’s most distinctive and beloved musical ensembles, with a long tradition, a high standard of performance, and a warm, direct relationship with the audiences it meets. At Skala Limnis, against a backdrop of sea and the September night, it offers a colourful musical evening that travels from musicals to jazz and the nostalgic melodies of the ’50s and ’60s — those tunes you know by heart without remembering when you learned them, and that inevitably sweep you into dancing and smiling. An evening that is festive, warm and thoroughly enjoyable.
The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
