The galaxy of Mikis Theodorakis
Mikis Theodorakis for eternity through the exhibition of his archives at Megaron the Athens Concert Hall.
THE DURATION OF THE EXHIBITION IS EXTENDED UNTIL 31/1/2026
The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Megaron the Athens Concert Hall and the “Lilian Voudouri” Music Library of the Friends of Music Society, which since 1996 has preserved and made available the complete Archive of Mikis Theodorakis, dedicate this exhibition to the centenary of the great Greek composer’s birth.
Original documents from his archive, which, in accordance with the composer’s wishes, are kept and displayed exclusively at the Athens Concert Hall, narrate a century of history. These are accompanied by rare audiovisual material and digital applications, thereby highlighting the breadth and diversity of the personality and the work of this major creator.
The exhibition was first presented in 2021.
