Ilias Karellas returns for the 14th consecutive year to the Athens Concert Hall with a brand-new original Christmas production for the whole family—a frozen shadow-theatre adventure with live music, songs, humor, and twists.
A few days before Christmas, something strange happens. Children’s letters are being returned without ever reaching their recipients, the elves have vanished, and Santa’s workshop has ground to a halt.
Behind the illuminated screen, Ilias Karellas gives voice to every character, leading Karagiozis and his companions all the way to the North Pole. There, they discover that the dark—and deeply aggrieved—Lord of the Frozen has imprisoned Santa Claus inside his own toy workshop and turned it into a frozen-goods factory.
The reason? A grudge he’s held since childhood: Santa never brought him the gift he was waiting for. So, since he himself never got to enjoy Christmas, he’s decided no one else will either!
As Karagiozis searches for a way to thaw out the North Pole, armed with a giant microwave and a colossal air fryer, one secret could turn everything upside down. The daughter of the Lord of the Frozen is in love with the son of the Queen of Fresh Produce, his great rival.

In the role of the Lord of the Frozen, the explosive Alkiviadis Konstantopoulos, the beloved “One-Man Band,” together with Odysseas Konstantopoulos, creates a subversive musical world of “frozen hits,” original compositions, and arrangements with rock and opera influences.
Opposite them, Katerina Tsiridou, an authentic contemporary voice of rebetiko and laïko song, becomes the Queen of Fresh Produce, bringing laïko, rebetiko, and traditional sounds to the stage with her baglama and a four-piece rebetiko band.
Beloved Christmas melodies and songs cross over from one world to the other, transformed through live music. Rock and rebetiko, opera and laïko song, fresh and frozen, shadows and live music combine in a grand Christmas shadow-theatre adventure that, in the end, may not be just about saving Santa Claus, but about how a frozen world can be warmed up again.
