The International Festival of Music Ensembles is a premier cultural institution with global appeal, aiming to highlight the universal language of music as a vehicle for connecting people and cultures.
More than 3,500 artists gather to unite their voices and melodies in a magical musical collaboration, transforming the heart of Athens into a colorful canvas of sound, rhythm, and emotion.
The stage of the Athens Concert Hall will host an impressive program featuring leading choirs and ensembles from Greece and abroad. Participants include the KrotalArta percussion group, the Tinos Philharmonic Choir, the Municipality of Thira Choir, the Naxos and Small Cyclades Philharmonic, the Andros Philharmonic, the Municipality of Thira Philharmonic, the Municipality of Corinth Choir, the Monemvasia Philharmonic, the Arachova Philharmonic, the Lechaina Philharmonic, the “Telessilla” Children’s and Youth Choir of Argos, the Cultural and Educational Association of Keramidi, the Public Power Corporation Cultural Center Choir of Larissa, the Children’s Choir of Vrachati, the Children’s Choir of the Municipality of Velo-Vocha in Corinthia, the Zakynthos Choir “A Child’s Dream”, Abbess Mariam Skorda, and the Philharmonic Orchestras of the Hellenic Navy, Army, and Air Force, among many other bands, choirs, and orchestras.
Furthermore, in an effort to give the 19th International Festival a philanthropic character, the Association of Philharmonics will donate part of the festival’s proceeds to volunteer and non-profit organizations.
