Although the church organ was at the center of creative interest for great composers of the Baroque, in the 20th and 21st centuries it has entered a new “golden” era, in which numerous composers discover in it a vast field for exploring unprecedented timbres and groundbreaking musical concepts.

Megaron’s resident organist, Ourania Gassiou, selects highlights from the rich contemporary repertoire of the instrument, while visual artist Charalampos Sevozlidis enhances them visually through three-dimensional projections during the recital. 3D projection mapping transforms the church organ itself into a living canvas. The graphics follow and amplify the musical flow, creating illusions of movement and depth.
