Manuel Parrilla is a Spanish composer whose work lies at the intersection of symphonic and cinematic music. After beginning his career writing music for local advertising, he composed the score for the first feature film produced entirely by the Madrid Music Institute. His music seeks to unite expressive orchestral writing with a strong sense of musical narrative, and has been recognised in several international composition competitions.
