Animegaron 2025-26: Salvatore Bezzi – (Italy)

Salvatore Bezzi is a Greek-Italian composer, pianist, and teacher of piano and advanced music theory. Born in Athens, he is active in composing music for piano, chamber ensembles, film, and theater. His work has been recognized in major international composition competitions, having won First Prizes at the Montreal International Composition Competition for his score to the film “Nature Morte” (2023), at the International Music Scoring Competition in the USA for the trailer of the film “The Watchers” (2021), and at the AN Art Artistry International Competition for his piece “Leprechaun” for piano four hands (2017). His music has been performed in Greece and abroad, and he has composed original scores for theatrical productions that have received awards at national festivals.
