Aris Quartett Rising Stars

Overview
Megaron the Athens Concert Hall is a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), a network that brings together some of the major concert halls in Europe. Each year, ECHO selects young and exceptionally gifted artists who give concerts as its Rising Stars in the network’s member concert halls. The ECHO Rising Stars series has existed since 1995 and has shaped the musical careers of many of today’s world-class artists.
Aris Quartett was founded in Frankfurt in 2009, has garnered five awards at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich and has already produced six recordings that have been highly praised, winning them international acclaim. The programme of their Megaron concert is dominated by two of the most charming classical quartets by Mozart and Schubert, together with the recent quartet by the multi-award-winning Japanese composer Misato Mochizuki.
