Vivaldi’s Four Seasons belong to that category of works whose beauty does not fade with multiple hearings. On the contrary, if they are performed by the likes of Simos Papanas, the result is pure, unalloyed enjoyment. Gifted young conductor Ektoras Tartanis collaborates with the Orchestra for the first time in Glazunov’s ballet, also inspired by the change of seasons.
