The Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra – an exemplary ensemble of young musicians – performs works by Mahler, conducted by Philippe Jordan, one of the most outstanding conductors of the younger generation. The soloists are the tenor Burkhard Fritz and the renowned American baritone Thomas Hampson.
