A brand-new theatre production by Ilias Karellas, created especially for today’s children.

In the imaginary city of Kara-Cartoon, Karagiozis and his friends live in an endless loop, without memory, past, or future: the Witch Pixel has trapped them in a dazzling yet lifeless digital dimension. Will our heroes, caught inside these repetitive frames, with no real reactions and no choices, manage to rediscover joy, sorrow, fear, anger, and surprise? Could music be the secret catalyst that awakens emotions?

In a unique collaboration between Shadow Theatre, the live music of Burger Project, and the world of comics, forgotten feelings are brought to life, while the audience participates actively through group interactive games.
“Kara-Cartoon” is not just an entertaining show, but also an educational tool that opens a dialogue about the proper use of technology, our relationship with screens and the internet. Inspired by the world of cartoons, the traditional berdès (shadow screen) is transformed into a living page of sketches and shadows, as tradition innovates to speak about the present and the future.

Recommended for children 5+ and adults.
