Rising Stars: Johan Delene, violin

Overview
At the young age of twenty, Swedish violinist Johan Dalene is already playing a Stradivarius. Winner of the Carl Nielsen international competition and a student of Janine Jansen, he is already collaborating on a regular basis with orchestras around the world, giving concerts in famous concert halls. In the programme of his Megaron concert, the talented young violinist does not shy away from performing major sonatas by Beethoven, Ravel and Prokofiev, as well as interesting contemporary works by women composers such as the Russian Lara Auerbach and the Swedish Tebogo Monnakgotla, revealing an erudition and versatility that are enviable for his age
