Schubert’s Sonatas with Elisabeth Leonskaja

Overview
GREAT INTERPRETERS
Elisabeth Leonskaja in the last recital of the Schubert Sonatas Cycle, which coincides with the completion of her recording of the full series.
The incomplete youthful Sonata in C major composed by eighteen-year-old Schubert is followed by another unfinished Sonata, in F minor, written three years later, and completed by pianists Paul Badura-Skoda and Martino Tirimo in their respective editions. The meditative last Sonata in B-flat major crowns the cycle. A momentous meeting between a great Romantic composer and a superb pianist.
– Franz Schubert: Sonata in C major, D. 279
Sonata in F minor, D. 625
Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960
