“Shakespeare lives in schools

Overview
MEGARON FOR CHILDREN
In collaboration with the British Council
A student ‘conspiracy’ as a fitting finale to the Year of Shakespeare.
Although four centuries have passed since the leading dramatist’s death, William Shakespeare’s verse continues in the 21st century to solve the riddles that have held mankind in thrall.
Pupils in primary and secondary schools in Attica have been invited to produce their own creations by drawing inspiration from the work of the great playwright. These creations (plays, dances, videos etc.) are presented to the public, and through the children’s clear, fresh vision Shakespeare comes alive and reveals new ideas and thoughts to us.
