Towards the future

Overview
Throughout its long history, the Athens State Orchestra has supported remarkable young musicians by inviting them to perform with it. Many artists who later rose to the very top of the Greek and international musical firmament had already graced with their talent the Orchestra’s concerts at a young age. Honouring this tradition, three promising young soloists who stood out in a recent competition perform an equal number of concertos under the baton of Canadian maestro Charles Olivieri-Munroe, with whom the Greek audience is already familiar. They are also accompanied by the firm belief of all of us that they have a bright artistic future ahead of them.
