An excellent musician and a multi-faceted composer, with important distinctions and a special artistic idiom, Vangelis Katsoulis is a special case of a contemporary creator. His music spans a wide range, from classical, electronic and jazz music, which he emphasized, to film and theatre music, creating an original pluralistic sound universe. Vangelis Katsoulis has more than twenty personal albums to his credit and has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians such as Markus Stockhausen, Arild Andersen, Paolo Fresu and Paul Wertico. At Megaron, together with the distinguished musicians Takis Farazis, Petros Varthakouris, Alexandros Drakos-Kistakis and Andreas Polyzogopoulos, they present a diverse programme of his old and new compositions, including free arrangements of classical and preclassical works.
