This year, Karagiozis travels to Cuba for a grand talent competition at the Christmas Circus. Under the watchful eye of the Circus Queen, and lost amid Cuban rhythms, colourful images, jugglers, acrobats and musical challenges, he unexpectedly meets all his friends! But the Pirates of the Caribbean lay siege to the circus, threatening to ruin the celebration. Opposing them, a strange creature sings Greek folk songs, as if casting out evil, filling the air with the memory and warmth of Mediterranean Christmases. This is the most vibrant and musical version of Shadow Theatre — for children and adults alike, ready to travel far and deep into the magic of the holidays.
