Animegaron 2024-25: Salvatore Bezzi – Second Prize (Italy)

Salvatore Bezzi, of Greek-Italian descent, is a pianist, composer, and professor of Piano and Advanced Music Theory. His work “Leprechaun” for piano (four hands) was awarded First Prize at the AN Art Artistry International Competition (2017) and has been performed by piano duos in Greece, Cyprus, Germany, and Canada. His composition for the film “Nature morte” won First Place at the Montreal International Composition Competition (2023). In 2021, his music for the trailer of the sci-fi film “The Watchers” received First Prize at the International Music Scoring Competition in Ohio, USA. In 2020, his piece the film “A Water’s Tale” was awarded at the Animegaron International Competition of Megaron the Athens Concert Hall. His original compositions for theatrical productions by the “Exoryxi” Theatre Group of the Municipality of Lavreotiki have also been awarded at Theatre Festivals throughout Greece.
