An anthology of Greek poems, set to music by the greatest composers and presented by two major artists, who through their work over the years have built special ties with poetry. Maria Farantouri has presented works from the contemporary Greek literary creation in the world’s major concert halls, while international poetry is also present in her repertoire. For Dimitris Katalifos, poetry is, together with music, the highest form of art. And reciting a poem requires from the actor a form of performance not unlike that of a theatrical role.
