The internationally acclaimed trumpeter and composer, who never stops experimenting musically, presents his fifth solo work, entitled Petrichor. Contemplative, airy and deeply spiritual, the album consists exclusively of original jazz compositions. Andreas Polyzogopoulos on trumpet and effects, together with Petros Klampanis on double bass and Wajdi Riahi on piano, creates a warm, spacious jazz soundscape with a steady, dynamic rhythmic feel, despite the deliberate absence of percussion.
