The talented students of the Athens State Orchestra Young Musicians’ Academy appear by the side of the professional musicians of the Orchestra in Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem An Alpine Symphony, based on personal experience, and exploring in depth the dynamic relationship (whether harmonious or hostile) between Man and Nature.
Alexandra Papastefanou opens the concert with a promising rendering of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 22.
