Every collaboration with veteran conductor Christoph Poppen proves an unforgettable experience for musicians and audiences alike! In his new appearance with the Athens State Orchestra, he will present Mendelssohn’s melancholy Scottish Symphony, and will premiere a symphonic work by Greek composer Dimitris Papadimitriou. Internationally acclaimed violist Tatjana Masurenko will play Walton’s demanding concerto.
