Works by Haendel, Vivaldi, Samartini
“Explosive music making, splendid flute playing, baroque swing”
– one could say these superb descriptions characterize the international chamber music ensemble known as the Austrian Baroque Company (formerly Oman Consort),
which has been hailed with high praise since its founding in 2001 and honoured with international CD awards.
The Austrian Baroque Company (ABC) performs European music from 16th to 18th century.
It attempts to portray the music in the context of its rhetorical tradition and to explore the emotional “electricity” between performers and audience.
