Diamanda Galás live at Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall

Overview
A living symbol of the avant-garde, the legendary Diamanda Galás has not simply influenced the international music scene, but has also without doubt impacted contemporary artistic expression in general, both aesthetically and in the avant-garde.
After a nine-year absence from recording, Diamanda Galás returns with two albums (All the Way and In Concert at Saint Thomas The Apostle Harlem), which feature popular pieces reworked by Galás in her own unique way.
In her new meeting with the Greek audience after a hiatus of a number of years, Diamanda Galás will present pieces from her last two albums, ‘Thrill Is Gone’ and ‘Round Midnight’ by Thelonious Monk, ‘All the Way’ by Jimmy Van Heusen, the popular, traditional ‘O Death’ and others.
