George Petrou will be at the podium of the Athens State Orchestra for the Megaron Grand Gala on 30 December. The great baritone Tasis Christogiannopoulos and the young and upcoming soprano Vassia Alati perform a festive programme of bel canto arias and duets from operas by Rossini, Donizetti, and Verdi. To top these, Viennese waltzes and operetta music by Johann Strauss and Franz Lehar.
