Throughout their long journey, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens have advanced the art of ballet in all its breadth while remaining faithful to the spirit of classical dance. Alongside the great classical works of the repertoire, they explore new dance styles with leading contemporary choreographers and emerging talents.
Well-known to Greek audiences from their acclaimed performance at the Athens Concert Hall in 2014, the renowned dancers from Montreal return this year with two choreographies: their great success The Four Seasons set to Vivaldi’s music—an inspired blend of theatricality, humor, and joy—and Cantata, set to traditional music from Southern Italy, an explosive cocktail of voice, music, and dance.
