Morricone meets Rachmaninoff Piano fantasy on an original idea by Renos Haralambidis

Overview
Ennio Morricone and Sergei Rachmaninoff meet in a dreamlike landscape and engage in a musical dialogue. Works by the two composers succeed one another, bringing to light hidden affinities. Quite often, musical motifs of one composer coexist with musical motifs of the other, producing an unexpected counterpoint effect and creating a “new” work. The musical material makes constant use of musical bridges that ensure the continuity of musical creation, intensify its narrative power and bring colour to the dreamlike landscape of the two composers’ meeting. One hour of continuous music that is structured as a symphonic work, gradually peaking until the final climax.
