The name Ilya Smukler is worth remembering, because it is bound to be on our minds in the years to come. The young Russian pianist has been described as a volcano, a fact that is proven, and amply so, both by his recent victory in the Geza Ada 2024 International Competition and the dozens of other prizes he has won, and by his successful performances internationally. He is joined by the up-and-coming Greek conductor Konstantinos Terzakis, Assistant Principal Conductor of the famous Birmingham Orchestra (2022/2023), an artist who is steadily making his way into the Greek and international music scene, gaining the audience and the appreciation of the orchestras he works with.
