A boy and a girl seek the bird of happiness. A journey to landscapes populated by mysterious creatures and alluring feathered beings, full of allegorical adventures – a journey into adulthood, the quest for the impossible.
One of the masterpieces of musical and fantasy theatre, The Blue Bird by the Belgian playwright Maurice Maeterlinck (Nobel Prize in Literature 1911), staged by Sophia Spyratou, communicates the most profound truths to children through the language of music, movement, word, and image.
