For decades, a constellation of great composers and poets has shaped Greek song into an archive of collective memory and a compass for an entire people. Maria Farantouri and Tassis Christogiannopoulos follow the traces left in our souls by beloved songs—landmark works by the composers who defined art song in Greece, including Mikis Theodorakis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Eleni Karaindrou, Michalis Grigoriou, and others.

A special highlight of the evening is the friendly participation of Theodoros Terzopoulos, who presents a theatrical reading of the musical work The Survivor, with music by Mikis Theodorakis and poetry by Takis Sinopoulos, featuring actresses Lygeri Mitropoulou and Kalliope Mitropoulou. At the piano and in charge of musical direction is Achilleas Wastor, while the stage of the Christos Lambrakis Hall also welcomes internationally acclaimed flautist Stathis Karapanos.
